Coach LaThario “Lo” Miller
HS Regional Varsity Head Coach
Coach LaThario “Lo” Miller was born in Jacksonville, FL playing basketball throughout his life. He attended Lincoln High School in Tallahassee, FL where he played point guard and was a 4 year starter. During his high school basketball career, Coach Lo earned various accolades. He still holds the school’s All-Time Assist record, he was named 2nd team All-Conference, and was an All Big Bend Honorable mention as a junior. In addition, he played in the FHSAA All Star Game as a senior and he was a 3 year Letterman in Basketball, Football and Track.
After graduating high school he attended Florida State College at Jacksonville where he played basketball for 2 years. After his time there, he became a father and began working. His love for basketball continued throughout the years.
His knowledge and passion for basketball earned him the opportunity to coach for the Blacktop Basketball Association where his teams have won various championships. He later began a travel basketball organization where he is the Director and Head Coach of the Jacksonville Trojans. Coach Lo is currently married to Lizette Miller and has two sons, LaThario, Jr. and LaRenzen Miller. His oldest son currently attends the Potter’s House Christian Academy and also plays basketball. Coach Lo and his wife share a love for improving the community, working with children and helping them see their worth. Coach Lo and his family are devout Christians that lean on God for strength, direction and wisdom.
